1988 Shasta Revere Truck Camper

Post by Ceg »

The Lance 11.3 is real heavy. I bought a small Shasta Camper for $100. This will lighten the load on my F350.

Today we got the camper off my truck and started checking it out.

The furnace seems to work. The jacks all need repaired.

The camper must be leaking on the drive side wall.

It does not have a place to put a battery because it was meant to run off the truck. We will add a battery and solar panels.

The water pump works. The fresh water drain was in the bed of the truck so I have not fill the tank up yet to test the hot water tank. Maybe tomorrow if I get time.

The over cab bed is missing a mattress.

The toilet room is very small. I will have to see if I can even get into it. I will test the water lines in there when I add water to the fresh water tank.

I cannot wait to start working on it.

EWE Shop Report: We will be moving the solar from the Lance Camper to the Shasta after it warms up. It is going to be a tight fit with the two big solar panels since the Shasta is a lot smaller. We can't wait to try the new (to us) camper out.
